Do men & women have the same conception of friendship?

I would be really interested to know from both genders what is your definition of a friend or friendship in general.

My boyfriend argues that a woman's conception of it is different than a man's.

What do you think?

Cheers!

First of all, there are different kinds of friendships. The platonic ones between a guy and a girl, where it is very close knit without the sex, then there is the ultimate sexual friendship. Most guys prefer the latter of course.

But platonic relationships are wonderful, as you have no pressure to perform.

A true friendship is where you are so close that you will be together forever no matter what, you have the trust, loyalty, thoughtfulness, consideration and mutual understanding.

There are friends and there are true friends, I know which one I prefer!

Yes it think that they do have a different concept of friendship, especially younger people. I'd say as we get older though both men and women have the same concept of friendship.

I think when we are younger, men have friends for someone to have fun with and women are more for the bonding and the fun. But as we get older i'd say we both want the bonding and socialising.

Friendships vary from people to people so it's quite difficult to give a clear answer here. For me there are friends who are just acquaintances and some who I would struggle to leave without. If we're talking about the latter, my definition of such friend would be someone who you can rely on no matter what and someone you could spend hours and hours with without getting bored or tired.

the version between especially and not especially women is glaring. As regards the adult males who prefer to love especially women relies upon upon the guy adjustments some adult males like honest confronted women some like, brown confronted (like Asian or Pakistani or Indian)women. I as a result say that this distinction is immaterial as they like women from yet another perspective. good luck

It's possible, but more likely after the male is around thirty. Prior to that most thought processes are driven by Mister Happy.
