Should I do this fantasy baseball trade?
I'd get:
Joe Mauer
Trevor Hoffman
I'd give up:
Joe Nathan
My current closers are Isringhausen and Valverde, while my catcher is Pierzynski. I'm kind of tempted to pull the trigger.
Thoughts?

Yes, you are getting 2 allstars for one. You are actually getting too much.

Are you kidding?? A top Catcher and one of the best closers in baseball history for Joe Nathan? Thats the DEFINITION of a no-brainer. Plus San Diego should be much better than Minnesota this year so hopefully Hoffman will end the year with more save chances. And with Valverde and Isringhausen on your bench its not like your hurting for decent closers.

Yeah...Mauer is an upgrade at catcher. Although Hoffman isn't pitching too great right now, you already have two other good closers in Isringhausen and Valverde. I think you can afford to trade Nathan.

do it, You give up a closer for a closer and in return you also get Mauer. Dont see where you would lose.

Do it. Hoffman may not get as many saves, but with your other closers you'll be just fine. I'd say your getting a steal.

id do it, nathans team isnt as good this year and mauer is a good long tern catcher
