How to get away from the spiral of the fabulous world of the ++++++?

I 'll try to explain. The boss wants us to do more work (+) more productivity (+). Society pushes for a bigger house (+). The bank wants us to have more credit (+). Advertising pushes us to buy more products (+). Big companies always want to make more profits (+). Governement spend more and more money (+) Where does it go? only the devill could answer that one. I think this is enough. Can't we be happy with what we have? There's got abe a way to stop that evil spiral fcs!

I totally agree. I have a car that gets me from point a to point b, I have an apartment thats big enough for me, my fiance, and my daughter. I have a job that pays the bills, but most of all, I have a family and friends that love me, and I love my life the way it is and I don't need fancy cars or houses or a million dollars to make me happy. Everything I need, I already have. I guess the only way to get away from the "fabulous world" as you said, is to get everyone to think like we do, and I just don't see that happening any time soon as we are pretty much brainwashed by the media that whoever dies with the most money and biggest house wins. Of course everyone would like to have more, but the real question is do we really need that much more?

    It's next to impossible

the government or at least factions of special intrest

within the government have pushed us here

temporary programs like Federal Income Tax

Welfare FoodStamps etc have been forced into

permanancy by those groups that weaseled thier mitts

    into the pie

it will of course of end some day in the next 1000 years

as it is impossible for the world to be capitolistic

and solve the crisis of the earth's atmosphere and

    animal kingdom problems

Rich ones don't want it to be thier money

    Poor ones can't afford it

When it comes down to live or die people will either

kill each other off trying to reduce the problem

    or learn to live together

that is correct my friend ... only you control the state of your mind called happiness. you can always be happy with what you have and not give in to this superficial society's habit of indulging in all kinds of worldly pleasures ...

discipline and austerity will lead you to the path of happiness.
