what should i say in my letter to girlfriend in air force?
i mean obviously the i miss you and love you...tell her how things are up here and ask what's going on down there...but i'm new to all this. are there some things i should include and not include? i just don't want to make her feel down or anything. should i send pictures? how long should the letter be?

Hey there! I actually have a similar experience. My boyfriend joined the Air Force about 3-4months ago and I felt the same way when i started writing letters. Soon I realized that just hearing from me made him feel better. My first letter to him included a drawing of my character and his on a game we played (to remind him of the good ol' days). You can try something similar and send her something that will remind her of you or memorable times. Also, you can tell them what they can look forward to when they get back home. For instance, I told him i would pamper him for doing such a good job and sticking it through! lol Most important, give her as much support as you can... she really needs it. Tell her how proud of her you are and that you support her,etc etc. The letters can be as long as you want them to be. Trust me, when in any branch of the military, people are just happy to receive letters! The longer, the better in my opinion. If they don't get a chance to read the entire thing, they know they have something to look forward to another day. :D
Good luck!

She is probably home sick some, so whatever you can tell her that makes her laugh, or talk about the things you did together, what your'e gonna do when she gets home. Nothing negative, she sees enough of that. Good luck.
