If George Bush initiated tax cuts for wealthy "job creators," where are the jobs?
16 réponsesPoliticsil y a 9 ansWhy does everyone spend time talking about bank accounts and birth certificates instead of actual issu?
Wouldn't it be great if people actually decided to assess their own interests and advocate for the advancement of related policies instead of dithering about media talking points?
4 réponsesPoliticsil y a 9 ansDo the racists, bigots, and ignoramuses realize that their questions and answers are part of a public record?
Many of the people who use the Politics & Government threads would be basically disqualified from public office or high-ranking official jobs if anyone decided to do a background check on internet aliases. The comments here can't be deleted after the questions are resolved--you people know that, right?

And why does Obama get called a socialist/communist liberal lefty when he's: a. right of center, along with his party, and b. basically identical to the majority of Republican candidates in practice?
We have a center-right party in the Democrats, and a far-right party in the Republicans. This should surprise no one.
6 réponsesPoliticsil y a 9 ansWhat do you think of my babby's name?
I named him Cory Worthington, do you think this is a good babby name? We just got him a cute pair of babby sunglasses! He won't take them off!
4 réponsesBaby Namesil y a 1 décennieSo Sarah Palin doesn't know the Constitution?
She said in an interview that she fears when the media criticize her attacks on Obama that it endangers her first amendment rights. Apparently she doesn't know that the first amendment guaranteed free speech AND the freedom of press. What do you make of this?
14 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieAll BS aside, what do you think of the candidates' character?
This campaign has been quite polarizing. I've voting for Obama based on his democratic platform, but I think John McCain is also a very capable leader with a brave senatorial record. Obama is both rational and judicious and has a great vision for his country. Does anyone else find both of these men to be fine citizens based on the content of their character and actions?
9 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieWhy don't McCain and Palin get along?
I asked this question last week and Republicans hissed at me, demanding a credible news source.
http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/10/25/palin.tensi...
I ask you again: why vote for the GOP when its two running mates aren't on the same page?
6 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieWhat does YA think of this?
McCain doesn't mince words, does he? At least, not when he's bashing to opposition. Do you think he's doing the right thing by saying he "won't be tested"--has he really been tested in international politics?
1 réponseElectionsil y a 1 décennieSarah Palin: Smarter than a third-grader?
In response to a third-grader's question, "What does the Vice President do?" she responded in typical circuitous and misleading fashion:
"[T]hey’re in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes that will make life better for Brandon and his family and his classroom," she said.
Is this woman really so power-hungry that she is deluding herself into thinking she's "in charge" of anything, or is she really just ignorant?
19 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieWhy don't Palin and McCain get along?
They disagree on many issues and Palin has ignored the campaign strategies and ideas from her own party. Is she running for McCain, or is she, as the GOP loves to claim about Obama, simply single-minded and ambitious?
4 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieIs Henry Kissinger supporting McCain because he is white?
I totally think so, it's a white-power play
4 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieWhat do you think of chimps that eat other chimps?
It happens. They do it rival troops to assert their dominance. What do you think of this practice?
3 réponsesZoologyil y a 1 décennieBruce or Harrison this week?
Marvin Harrison has worn out his welcome on my teams after last year and now this year (autodrafted). Everyone keeps saying he's healthy and happy, but with Reggie Wayne, Harrison is getting next to nothing. Should I bench him this week for Isaac Bruce, who broke out with a huge game last week and has the Lions this week?
5 réponsesFantasy Sportsil y a 1 décennieHow satisfying is museum art to you?
I like to think I appreciate art and I've taken some courses even in college, but sometimes I feel like I'm not getting it and that art gallery people are full of it. But how much do you need to know or see in order to be satisfied?
4 réponsesOther - Arts & Humanitiesil y a 1 décennieIs it possible to die in your own dream?
I thought I had this happen once, but my friends told me that your brain won't process that or some nonsense.
16 réponsesPsychologyil y a 1 décennieWhat's your favorite Pixar movie, and why?
I like The Incredibles; that movie is hilarious.
4 réponsesPolls & Surveysil y a 1 décennieWhich is the most underappreciated Pokemon?
I think it's probably Tauros. Either that or Seel.
4 réponsesSociologyil y a 1 décennieSomeone tell me why no one in America will consider nuclear power?
It's not as dangerous as everyone thinks and the only accidents are from human error. It's way more effective than solar and wind. Isn't this something we should be strongly considering again?
41 réponsesOther - Society & Cultureil y a 1 décennieWhat tattoo would you get?
If you one day decided to get a giant tattoo on your chest or back and it couldn't have words, what would it be.
I'd get a peacock on my chest like Stevie Ray. Something like this:

except more colorful and sleek. The peacock is a true symbol of masculinity.
