As a veteran, I am infuriated that Dodd is supporting Blumenthal. This man has stolen valor from those that DID serve in the Vietnam theater. I am a Vietnam Era vet but did not serve in the war zone. It doesn't diminish my service but if I were to claim to be in theater and under fire...well...that would make me a liar, don't ya think? So why does this guy get a pass from Democrats?

Or is the senate panel hearing strictly a CYA measure to cover up the ineptitude of the Congress to control Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac?

If President Obama, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi have their way, you'll be forced to purchase health insurance...it's going to be a little like mandatory auto insurance. If you're young, healthy, and really don't need a great deal of insurance...it doesn't matter, you still get to participate in this great economic experiment.

Now that ACORN is pretty much a dead issue with the libs and Dems, they are forming a new group around the racist theories of their liberal icon, Jimmy Carter.

The idea is for state insurance commissioners to band together to open up their states to competitive health plans and for state legislatures to pass statute to limit awards in medical malpractice suits and punitive damage awards. If the red states did it, the blue states would have to follow suit.

It seems pretty obvious that the majority of Americans don't want Obama's solution for health care. So if he forces the issue, does he stand a tinkers chance in 2012?

My feeling is this: He was caught, tried, convicted, sentenced, served his sentence, and has expressed genuine remorse for his decisions. I think he deserves the option to play. I also think that if he's wise, he'll donate a substantial amount of his time and money to causes that prevent cruelty to animals.

Is it possible that the weaking of our geo-political position and weakening of our military in general could spark a military takeover of our government? Is it that farfetched to conceive of such a thing?

Or are you just as ticked off as I am about how the Democrats are trying to slip it to us?

He's more and more testy, he makes a giant mistake by weighing on the arrest of Professor Gates while admitting he doesn't know the facts, and then defends his position of accusing the cops of acting "stupidly".

The reference to the arrest of the black professor was related to health care reform how? It was a distraction to close the conference on a note of racial divide. Think about it.

Ask the question of your Congressmen and Senators...ask them if they've read the Obama health bill in its entirety before voting on it. Make them pledge to read it. Don't let them tell you it's too long or too complicated. They are about to commit all of us to a lifetime of debt, $80,000 for every man, woman and child alive.

I'm not...throwing the bums out is the best thing we could do. Send them a message...that if they fail to do the peoples work, the people will FIRE them!

Does anyone believe that they received a "tax cut" as a middle class income earner? Even if the government confiscates all of the income of the so-called rich, it wouldn't even come close to paying for the multi-trilllion dollar debacle that they have planned for health care reform.

When they aren't even sure about the causes or the extent of the affect of greenhouse gases?? Methinks that most of the global warming is caused by all the hot air coming from politicians that want to appear to be savvy environmentalists.
