I want to bring a hot date but I don't see a sign on it.

dual port, 34pic3 carb. took out tank, full of water. flushed tank, fuel lines, replaced filter, cleaned carb and all jets. idles great, runs great in 1st gear, but in second runs rough, loses power, esp when going up hill. barely made it home. still idles great. where should I start? thanks in advance!

At low RPMs when I depress the throttle it stutters and almost dies before gradually going faster. happens in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Not 1st. Are the jets adjustable or do I have to change them out? Didint do this w old pic 3, but that one had other probs. How do I figure out which jets and to change by how much? Thanks alot!

I thought it was the oil light. But battery light goes on intermittently. Off at idle, on at higher rpms. Battery seems to be fully charged, no problem starting. When the turn signals work, the battery light is always off. Where should I start looking? Thanks!

Is intermittent. Maybe 1X per week. It does not seem to effect starting or charging system. Maybe it is accompanied by decreased idle, but may be a separate issue. The light does not go off at higher RPMs. All belts are good. Where to start? Seems more like a loose wire. Anyone good at VW wiring issues? I thank you in advance!
