He says "There is no God who condones taking the life of an innocent human being. This much we know."
Am I missing something? This is the man who supports killing live born fetuses! He is even making us fund abortions overseas!
8 réponsesGovernmentil y a 1 décennieWhich document would you choose as for your vision of government - the Declaration of Independences?
There are two conflicting philosophies of governance in the world. One, the American view, as outlined in the Declaration of Independence, states that all people have rights they are born with and that government's only job is to protect those rights at all costs. The Declaration says that these rights are forever and unquestioned. It is the foundation of human freedom. It is what makes the United States a Republic, where the rights of minorities (even of one) are firmly defined and protected.
The other philosophy says that government grants our rights, professing that all such rights give way to an undefined common good whenever it's warranted - which is often. That means that all so called rights are subject to the whim of whatever gang is currently in power at the time, dictating the definitions of what constitutes the "common good." Today that is commonly called a democracy, where the power of majority rule can and does obliterate the rights of minorities.

25 réponsesGovernmentil y a 1 décennieWhy do people think Obama has won, when voting day is still several hours away?
Polls are not votes!
28 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieIf Obama doesn't win, do you feel a little bit sorry for him?
He is totally wrong for the job right now, but he tried really hard! He changed his views on nearly everything to get those votes. Sometimes his views changed back, depending when he was in the east or west, north or south. Plus, his ego will be destroyed! Poor guy!
46 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieHow much will Obama's Change cost the USA, morally, economically and politically?
Hope And Change:
Once upon a time, there was a charismatic and eloquent young
leader who decided his nation needed a change, and he was the one to
implement it.
The people were receptive and ready for a change.
He spoke passionately when denouncing the existing system, and the press
loved him.
Nobody questioned what he believed in or who his friends were.
He would help the poor and bring free medical care and education to
all.
He would bring justice and equality.
He said, 'I am for hope and change, and will bring you both.
'
Nobody bothered to ask about the change, so by the time the
executioner' s guns went silent, all guns had been confiscated.
When everyone was finally equal, they were equally poor, hungry,
and miserable. Their free education was worthless.
When the change was fully implemented, the country had been reduced to Third World status.
More than a million people fled in small boats and rafts.
The charismatic young leader was Fidel Castro; the nation, Cuba ..
The citizens of the United States would never fall for a charismatic, eloquent young leader who promises hope and change without asking,
'What change, and how much will it cost us?'
Would we?

This one obviously does.
5 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieIs using tax dollars to sponsor a NASCAR driver to advertise the switch to digital telivision wise?
The FCC will pay $355,000 to sponsor David Gilliland’s number 38 car, owned by Yates Racing, for three races, in order to raise awareness about the upcoming switch to digital television in February. Even though the commission has inundated networks with paid announcements for months, Martin considered it necessary to use additional taxpayer dollars to pay for the car and driver to bear slogans such as “Is Your TV Ready for Digital?”
Your thoughts?
5 réponsesPoliticsil y a 1 décennieWould Obama's money he spent on the infomercial have been better spent caring for the poor?
He's already leading in the polls. Plus he didn't say anything new. I am beginning to see the light about spreading the wealth. Why won't Obama be an example and share his wealth?
54 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieWhy are Obama's books being totally ignored by the media?
From Dreams of My Father:'I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.'
From Dreams of My Father : 'I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race.'
From Dreams of My Father:'There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.'
From Dreams of My Father: 'It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.'
From Dreams of My Father:'I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa , that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.'
And FINALLY the Most Damning one of ALL of them!!!
From Audacity of Hope:'I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.'
Is Sarah Palin's wardrobe really more important?
17 réponsesElectionsil y a 1 décennieIf Obama can raise $600 Million for campaign funds in less than 2 years, Why couldn't he solve US poverty?
$600 Million divided by 37 million poor folks leaves $16.2 million dollars per poor person. Poverty solved!
As president he should have no trouble getting all his rich friends to donate to such a worthy cause!
Those who know me... bear with me on this. It is a serious question.
Think about it!
He could solve all poverty in two years!
