I am trying to find out how to get the characters above the individual letters used in Spanish, upside down ? mark, upside down ! etc. On an ordinary pc we had to hold down alt and enter a three figure number, but this doesn't work on the MacBook. Can anyone help me please? One lady tried earlier but it didn't work.

I recently bought a MacBook and when I tried to type Spanish characters it did not work the same as it did in Windows, eg. type in three numbers while holding down the alt key. Does anyone know how to do it on a MacBook? Would be grateful for any help, TMA due soon. Thanks.

My son moved to san Jose CA in February this year to work for Apple. His first attempt to obtain a permanent works visa was turned down, no reason given. Apple immediately put in an appeal on his behalf because they are desperate to keep him. He had a second interview three weeks ago and is still waiting to hear from INS. He has made a really good life for himself out there and loves the place and the people. If he is refused again is there anything he can do? It will kill him to have to come back here because there is no future for him here. Any advice would be wonderful. Thankyou.
