Uncle Pennybags
Middle-aged conservative with libertarian leanings who finds modern liberalism to be incredibly naive and dangerous, I respect old-time liberals who were genuinely interested in keeping this nation strong and helping ALL the people. I'm a staunch defender of Capitalism. Capitalism and rich people do not oppress the rest of us. Far from it, capitalism has brought the highest level of prosperity to those countries that practice it. However I realize that capitalism can be abused and does have it's excesses, and therefore gov't regulation is required, but it should be done sparingly, and only when there is no other alternative. Far from being worried about what the rest of the world thinks of the USA, my opinion is they should worry about what we think of them. Other countries need us as their guardians and market. We do not need them.
To all the folks on YA Politics, I wish you all well?
Except for the liars and hate peddlers. You know who you are. You can go screw yourselves.
1 réponsePoliticsil y a 2 semainesWithout YA, how will Democrats find out when CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, ABC, CBS, etc. have lied to them?
I mean certainly those sources aren't going to tell Democrats they lied to them. And if Democrats don't check out Fox News or other conservative media, how would they ever find out.
For instance, in the last few days we've discovered that those news outlets lied to them about the Russia bounties story, and that Trump supporters didn't kill Capitol Police Officer Sicknick.
3 réponsesPoliticsil y a 2 semainesTo all those who asked honest questions and gave honest answers here on YA Politics, I wish you well on this last day of new Q&A?
To those of you who actually provided reasonable, thoughtful, and factual content, I enjoyed answering your questions and seeing your answers in mine these many years.
To the rest of you who deliberately lied and peddled hateover and over again, go fvck yourselves! You know who you are.
6 réponsesPoliticsil y a 2 semainesWhy do Democrats and the media (I repeat myself) keep lying and telling us there is a "Gun show loophole" when no such thing exists?
In every state, the gun laws are exactly the same inside a gun show as they are outside of the gun show.
If it would be illegal for a person to buy a gun in that state, it is just as illegal in a gun show.
If it is illegal for the seller to sell a gun outside of a gun show, it is just as illegal in a gun show.
There is no such thing as a "Gun show loophole."
2 réponsesLaw & Ethicsil y a 2 semainesIn these times when Democrats say highways are racist and trees are racist, why can't they admit gun control is racist, and always has been?
The history of gun control in America has always been about trying to keep blacks from having guns.

2 réponsesPoliticsil y a 2 semainesHave Democrats gone full Orwellian now?
Democrats want to expand the court to 13 Justices and fill those new openings with partisans. That's called "packing the court."
Yesterday, while speaking in favor of that, Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler said, "We’re not packing the Supreme Court, we’re unpacking it."
In Nadler's logic, Trump using his Constitutional power of appointing replacements for justices who died was "packing the court" and what the Dems are doing is "unpacking."
Do Democrats think anyone honestly believes their BS?
9 réponsesPoliticsil y a 2 semainesWhat Gun Rights group does the best work and is the most effective in the lobbying and political arena?
With the NRA embroiled in a leadership crisis and bankruptcy, their attention is currently focused inwards. For decades they did great work lobbying and politically working on behalf of our Second Amendment rights, but right now I need an alternative.
I know lots of folks love Gun Owners of America (GOA), but honestly, they don't seem to do very much except brag that they are the only uncompromising gun rights organization out there.
Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) does good work, but they seem to be focused more on the legal side in the courts. And I'm a member because of it.
But what's a good gun rights group to join that focuses on the lobbying and politics field?
3 réponsesHuntingil y a 2 semainesHow come CNN doesn't have Gov. Andrew Cuomo on as a guest anymore? Last year he was on so often they could have given him his own show?
Last year, he was on Chris Cuomo's show so often they could have renamed the show "The Cuomo Brothers Comedy Hour."
But this year, since the revelations about his killing thousands of seniors by ordering COVID patients into nursing homes, and then covering up the data, and then all the allegations of sexual misconduct, they never have him on CNN any more.
3 réponsesPoliticsil y a 2 semainesCop who killed Daunte White is identified within a day. 3 months after Ashli Babbitt was killed by a cop, we still don't know who did it?
Unarmed Ashli Babbitt was shot and killed by Capitol police as she was climbing through a window. To this day, the cop who pulled the trigger has never been identified.
Why?
5 réponsesPoliticsil y a 3 semainesWhy is VP Harris not doing anything about the Border Crisis even though Biden put her in charge of it? Not even going down there?
Could it be because she wants nothing to do with this shitshow that Joe created?
5 réponsesPoliticsil y a 3 semainesWith the rash of blacks resisting police and getting shot, is it time for social media and mass media to show Chris Rock's PSA?
titled "How not to get your *** kicked by the police?"
It's got a lot of good advice to help blacks not get shot by police.
2 réponsesPoliticsil y a 3 semainesDo soldiers in the US Army receive periodic additional combat training or field exercises even if they have a non-combat MOS?
Let's say my MOS makes me the IT guy. After I've gone through basic training and AIT and start my job as an IT guy, will there be additional combat training over time?
Or does the Army consider Basic training enough?
If there are periodic additional combat training or field exercises, can you discuss how often and what sort of training that is?
3 réponsesMilitaryil y a 3 semainesWhy do Democrats think roads and trees are racist?
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg our national highway system is racist.
And apparently the Portland, OR Board of Education feels trees are racist because blacks were lynched by hanging them from trees.
