what does it mean if i called a flip flop circuit chip "Latch" and "transparent"?

ok so i wrote this program to give me distance and midpoint of a line on a x,y coordinate plane and the distance works fine however the midpoint (x3,y3) wont do decimals how can i expand it to give me like 3 or 4 decimal places, and show up in for form "(x3,y3)" like it should instead of me having to do them on separate lines?

ok so how can i find the Protons, neutrons, and electrons of Sr^2+ how do i find each one ive looked around and i think p+=38 and e-=36 and i know the mass # is 86 just not for sure how to really get the number of protons, neutrons, and electrons for sure.

ok so the problem was

10.0g of calcium carb. decomposes by heat to 5.60g og calcium oxide and carbon dioxide gas, what is the mass of the carbon dioxide produced?

so by conservation of mas law i can say 10.0 - 5.60 = 4.4 but because its a gas im not really dsure what units to put cause grams cubed doesn't really look right, was in cm cubed or what?

im trying to install a copy (That i bought along time ago) of XP on a laptop of mine that had kubuntu and windows seven on but after i messed around with it trying to unpartition the HD in several ways i now have 3 partitions, one that is unallocated one that is my C: Original that has kubuntu as well as some old seven and xp files, and one more with seven on it, and i just want 1 partition with Xp on it, every time i reinstalled seven and or xp i never had the option to format all the drives, so my question to you all, how can i completely remove or merge all the partitions, erase everything on that single partition and put seven or xp on it?

ok so im trying to reinstall xp on a desktop for my mom 7 and vista are to hard for her, and i can do that pretty easy usually and the cd is in when i restart it but what happens is we have a wireless keyboard/ mouse set and when the computer tells me to press any key to boot from cd the wireless receiver goes dead but after that it works fine its just the couple seconds i need to use it that it goes dead. it used to be plugged into both ps/2 input ports but i lost the converter to change one part of the cable from usb to the purple ps/2. what can i do to get this computer to reformat? do all the usb ports go dead to or should i buy a usb keyboard?
