I work at a convenience store that hs a high turnover, The owner only want to pay us contract labor and not take taxes out until we are`there at least 90 days, which would be fine,but i average about 50 to 58 hours a week and i get no overtime pay.i always thought you work over 40 you get paid time and a half , should i call a lawyer

I had a bad injury in Feb. and had to have my elbow replaced. We are still fighting the insurance company,i didn't have insurance but it fell under the homeowners of the apartment where i was living. My lawyer said it could take up to a year,and other than about 400 dollars i paid out of pocket there hasn' been anything paid on the dr. bill. Now my arm is getting into really bad shape,there is a lot of swelling and inflamation. I got a letter from the doctor saying until the balance is paid he can't see me. I need help now so do i just go to the er and hope for the best. ant suggestions

i have different symptoms but the main thing that concerns me is that regardless of what i eat or drink i have rush to the bathroom most of the time before i finish eating and i have terribly painful diarrhea. this isn't just every once in a while its every day.I've had my gall bladder removed and thought that may help but it hasn't, any suggestions

Oh the chaos this would cause. Being married to a Newman and being the Chancellor heir, not to mention "Grandma Katherine" and Nikki are best friends and we know nobody messes with Kays family. They could all knock Nikki off her high horse. This could all be totally possible because we've never heard anything about Phyllis family and it is a soap. or even better would be that Cane and Phyllis are twins if they decide to keep him around which i hope the do.If any of this comes to pass you guys remember where you heard it first and make sure lizajane gets her props

We just moved into a new apartment and my 7 year old Pekingnese is what I can only explain as being depressed. She refuses to walk from room to room, will not jump up or down off of beds and other furniture, will just sit in one place and whine. I don't believe she is in any pain and she is eating and going out on her leash okay, but nothing we seem to do will calm her. This is not our first move since we have had her and she has never acted this way before. What should we do?

I don't think that the rock and pop and the country catagories pertain to us older people who remember what real music was like.Now I'm not knocking todays music and some of it I like.but most of us 40ish people don't want to party like a rock star.
