my house which i owned since 2008 was sold in a short sale on dec 31 2015. i got a 1099c from my mortgage company which is holding me accountable for the debt of 37K as indicated on form 1099c box 5. i was under the impression that debt mortgage debt forgiveness applied here ? please help, i am using tax act to file my taxes

This is the 5th time its going bad, i have replaced the battery and alternator and now i have battery and brake light on, someone told me its due to my aftermarket cd player but not sure. Its only a dual XHD7714 and everything else is stock. It's a toughone alternator remanufactured 110 amps that was put in on 10th of January this year and the battery is ever start MAXX, 24 F 750 cca.

Please help i cant keep paying to have this fixed & cant afford to buy a new one. Thanks in advance!

fuse is fine and so is the motor,i can feel it running when i turn the switch on, what could be the problem, kinda lost here.

in front of my house, every year i keep getting these weird plants and trees that i have to cut down.

im wondering if there is any kind of chemical i can spray to kill everything and i mean everything

please help as i have been cutting these down every year in spring and they are back before fall.

so i have these plants in front of my house and on the side, both are on a small hill which is very steep,

i keep cutting them down every spring and different ones keep coming back each year, before it use to be very thorny large plants, now it looks like just regular plants that are large. i cannot mow this area, or keep cutting them, i want to spray something in this area that will prevent anything from growing here, i don'tt even want grass. im not a big fan of chemicals but will try anything @ this point. i cannot afford to have someone do this, so please advice some kind of chemical or homemade remedy i can use to spray this area and kill everything.

my sister married in Pakistan in 2006 her husband came to USA in 2009, since than he has been an ***, we are pretty sure he is gay since he wont sleep with her and doesn't pay the rent and abuses drug, we are pretty sure he used her to enter USA and is just waiting until he becomes a citizen to divorce her.

she wants to file for divorce before that happens since he is still on a visa from her filling the 1-130 petition for him, how does she go about filing a divorce and getting him thrown out of USA?

he is here on Cr-1 visa.

My wife entered USA in march 2011, i work and live in massachusetts for 2010, now I'm filing my taxes and I have a few questions.

Can I file for two, meaning me and her or just single since she wasnt in USA in 2010?

I got married in 2010 in Pakistan and got my wife to enter USA with cr1 visa sponsor which gets her a green card....I paid approximetly 2000 in fees to immigration.....are those tax deductible?

im a US citizen, married my fiance in pakistan in july, she holds pakistani citizenship.

i applied for her with USCIS, i sent the I-130 on aug 24th and it was approved and forwarded to NVC today.....im a bit confused as to what is next?

do i have to dig up proper forms and send them to NVC again or will they send the the correct forms and the fees?

I got a speeding ticket in mail......I was driving thru revere,ma......goine to newburyport.....working for an mbta contractar......it says I was speeding and changing lanes and all sorts of other stuff ........I don't recall any of this and neither can I identify where the ticket was issued.

I have one speeding ticket in record along with another one I'm fighting tomorrow.....how do I fight this one as I don't even know what to say or how to defend myself??????

I don't remember the area where I was speeding neither do I know where this area is?

Also why didn't the officer stop me and issue the ticket there rather than mailing it to me.

Please help as I lost my job and I don't know how to fight or pay for this if I lose.

i have a acer aspire one laptop with a built in webcam................it was working fine now its gone.

i bought a ice maker kit, but i got the non self piercing saddle valve. i really dont want to buy a T connector. my option are to drill into the cold water Polymer Braid Faucet Supply Line or the copper pipe coming out of the wall. please help and let me know which one would be better and safer.
