Ok had the worst treatment at my work I ever had.

I was working in salad bar. It was closing time. It was couple minutes before 8pm and the store was dead cause of the football game. There was still people shopping who don't watch. I decided to close ten minutes early since it was dead and to prep for closing. After I put the tongs in sink with soap and sanitizer, a couple came in and wanted salad. I was nice and told I just put them in the sink & it's almost closing time. They walked away, then the guy turned and asked for my name. I asked him why since I don't know them and didn't do anything wrong. He Wouldn't tell me why but decided to flip off on me, saying I don't care about store making money etc. even though he could of gone to produce to get pre made salads or get materials to make it at home. They had 12 hours to get salad bar stuff but didn't do it on time. I then talked to a co worker who heard it. Came back and they were standing there. Store manager came and did her best to make it safe for them to use tongs. The guy decided to yell at both of us, telling her she's not doing her job by not saying anything and telling me I should get fired for not giving him my name. I walked away cause I was disgusted that this guy would what someone to loose their job cause he didn't come in on time

What should I do if this guy or couple comes back and bothers me since I won't get in trouble?
