  • Who pays for Hep B vaccinations? Employer or employee?

I need to get a Hep B vaccination for my job (I work in a care home), is it my responsibility to pay for it or my employer's? They are quite expensive and I haven't got the money for it.

  • Is Serato Scratch Live any good?

I've resisted going digital for many years and stuck with vinyl, but this looks like a pretty good compromise. Does it actually work well? When scratching or beat juggling, does it feel the same as using music that is actually on the record? Or does it sound removed from what your doing?

Also, is it compatable with any turntable and mixer set up? I use a Vestax PMC-05 Mixer and Vestax PMX 2000 turntables, will I need new turntables or mixer? If so, what's best to get that's compatible with Serato Scratch Live?

  • Is Fullmetal Alchemist available on blu-ray?

A friend introduced me to Fullmetal Alchemist and I want to buy it on blu-ray. Not sure how many series there are, but it appears there are two, long "series" (the second one called Brotherhood) and two movies. Are they all available on blu-ray? I can only seem to find Brotherhood, but I want to get the first series and watch that first. Any suggestions where to find them? I've tried the usual places (i.e. Amazon, eBay, etc)

  • Can you find someone on Facebook using face recognition?

I was at a comic book convention and I met someone there that I wanted to keep in touch with on Facebook, but I've completely forget their name (I'm getting old, lol), I took some photos while I was there and they're in some of them, so I was wondering if there's any face recognition software that can search for someone on Facebook?

  • What is gonna happen to TNA now that Bravo is shutting down?

BSkyB have announced they have bought Living TV Group and have decided to close Bravo as it targets the same audience as their own Sky One channel.

Bravo currently broadcasts TNA Impact! and TNA PPVs in the UK, so what is going to happen to these shows in the future?

Sky already has a deal to broadcast WWE programming, which is a bigger brand and has a bigger audience, so it seems to me that it's unlikely they are going to want or need more wrestling.

So when Bravo closes, what happens to TNA in the UK?

  • What was the longest penalty shootout in professional football?

If a football match can't be decided after extra time and after 5 penalties each they still can't be seperated, it goes into sudden death. But what if they still match each other, goal for goal? How long can a shoutout go on for?

I'm sure I remember seeing one where everyone eventually had to take a penalty, even the goalkeepers. But what is the longest a penalty shootout has gone on for?

  • What is the name of this cartoon duck?

I think it's a WB cartoon character. He was a yellow duckling and most of his stories were along the lines of him being an orphan and that he thinks no one loves him (aww). He was also suicidal and wanted to be eaten by protaganist (Wile E. Coyote? Sylvester the Cat?) and always has to get saved by another character. I remember one scene where he's sitting in a cooking pan, basting himself.

  • Where can I find a canal boat holiday in Amsterdam?

All I seem to find are hotel boats (where you hire just a cabin) and large boats for hosting wedding receptions and stuff.

I'm trying to find somewhere I can hire a small canal boat (2 berth) for a week, and also, any information on mooring charges in Amsterdam (or any other expenses for using a canal boat in Amsterdam)

  • Did Mariah Carey do this or is it an urban myth?

I've heard this from a few different people, is it just an urban myth?

Mariah Carey once had surgery on her vocal chords to improve her range when singing.

First, is this kind of operation even possible? Second, did she have it done? Assuming it is possible, would someone who makes a living from singing risk something going wrong for the sake of having a greater range? But models have cosmetic surgery, and they would lose work if it went horribly wrong, so why not a singer?

  • Why is the GTA expansion pack, The Lost and Damned, only available on the Xbox 360?

I've got nothing against the Xbox, but why is this exclusive to that console? According to the sales figures, Rockstar sold more copies of GTA IV on the PS3 than the Xbox, so if you're going to make something that's exclusive to one console, surely it should be for the one you've sold more copies for.

Personally, I don't think it should be exclusive to either console. Anyone who has purchased the game should have the option to get the expansion pack, regardless of their format of choice. I can live with developers making a game that's exclusive to one format, but if you make a game and release it both consoles, then you should do the same with the add-ons.

  • Where can I find a bag big enough for my laptop?

I've got a 18.4" widescreen laptop, but I can't seem to find a laptop bag big enough.

The points will go to whoever posts a link with their answer, to a page with a laptop bag big enough. Preferably a backpack style one.

  • Where's the FIFA 09 demo on Playstation Network?

The FIFA 08 podcast said it was being released today, but I can't see it.

To top it off I've got a friend with an Xbox 360 boasting about having downloaded it.

  • Can you use an iPod with a PS3?

I've plugged my iPod into my PS3's USB port and although it can't find any music, it does recognise that it's an iPod that's been plugged in.

Are there any settings I need to adjust for the PS3 to be able to read the music files on there, or does anyone know if this is something Sony is planning on implementing in future updates?

  • Why are people so easily coerced into giving up their human rights?

It seems like everyone wants to scrap the Human Rights Act, despite the fact that it's for their own protection?

It stops those in power from abusing that power to exploit people, and by abolishing it you'd be giving the government more control over the population.

Isn't it obvious that the government would want to get rid of it? And the easiest way to do that would be to manipulate the people into thinking that it's a bad thing.

They allow criminals to abuse the law so that people become so angry that they start calling for the law to be scrapped. But common sense should tell you that human rights laws are not there to protect burglars from injury when they break into your home or to ensure murderers can have colour TVs in their cells. The only reason it's allowed is so that the Human Rights Act can be ridiculed to the point where no one wants it.

  • What should be the referee's call?

    Here's the scenario....

The ball is played forward but the receiving player is offside, the linesman waves his flag for it, but before the whistle is blown the nearest defender tackles and fouls the offside player. Which call would take priority? Would the defending team get the free kick for the offside, or the attacking team get it for the foul? Would the severity of the challenge effect the decision over which call to make?

  • Why do people need to point out wrestling is fake?

Whenever wrestling is on, why is there always someone who has to say "it's all fake"? Everyone knows that it's staged, including the fans, so why do they have to point it out all the time expecting someone to say "no it's not!" Don't they realise they sound like idiots pointing out the obvious.

If you were watching Jurassic Park you wouldn't say "it's all fake, those dinosaurs aren't real, they're just CGI", or if you were watching Die Hard you wouldn't say "He hasn't really been shot, that's just fake blood, he's just pretending to be shot". If you said that people would look at you as if your an idiot. (having said that, the blood in wrestling is real, just search "blading" in wikipedia).

We know wrestling is staged, so why do people have point it out like it's some revelation.
