I've been asked to sign an injunctive relief clause as part of an employment contract. The clause says that if I don't abide by my obligations, that my employer "will" suffer immediate and irreparable harm and that financial relief "will" be incomplete.

How can I tell whether or not they would suffer irreparable harm that can't be fixed by money? Should I ask them to change it to "could" instead of "will"?

Say I have the following Data of classes rated from 1-10 in quality:

Class A -- 7, 7, 7, 6, 8

Class B -- 4, 10, 9, 3, 9

Both classes have an average score of 7. However, the standard deviation of Class A is .7 while Class B is 3.2.

How would I graph this in excel using points with error bars?

I store my pita bread in a dark, room-temperature cupboard. After about 3 or 4 days, it becomes warm to the touch (warmer than it should be, as if something is growing on it). It does not smell or have mold.

How long is pita bread supposed to last under these conditions?

Here's our situation:

- one daily commute is about 5 miles of city driving

- the other daily commute is by public transit

- two large dogs (too big for a sedan)

- 3-4 times a year we make a 450 mile (round-trip) journey across a mountain pass to visit family

We need an SUV of some type for the dogs and winter pass trips. Fuel efficiency is a concern of ours. Fuel consumption is more important to us than cost. We're looking to spend ~40K

We're weighing our options to buy a new hybrid SUV (Highlander?) for all of our driving needs, or to buy a new hybrid car (Civic?) for our daily use and a used standard SUV (Envoy?) for the dogs and long trips.

Anyone thoughts from someone else who has gone through a similar decision? What did you choose and how has it worked out?

I am scheduled for a promotion from my Paralegal Assistant position to a Paralegal position. I am curious as to what a reasonable starting salary would be. Here are some more details:

- I am in Downtown Seattle

- I work for a large, international corporate law firm

- I will be handling both foreign and domestic applications

- I have had 1 year of experience with the firm

- I will be handling approx. 500 active applications

In my company, an actual sit down meeting is not common, but I have requested one because I've been doing some tasks that are generally done by someone who makes 20K+ more than I do. I like doing the tasks and know that they also like me in the role I'm in, but I want to have my job description modified (and a raise wouldn't be bad either).

I've already raised this issue through an email and they are going to sit down with me to talk about it.

My question is, what else should I talk about? I know I've been doing a good job and have had nothing but positive feedback. I'm in an entry level role and basically I just need to keep gaining experience in the industry to be able to move up.

Is it simply living somewhere? Is it voting? Is it something more?

My house gets cold VERY quickly. I'm having someone come by to look at the insulation in the attic and was just wondering what I should expect. There's a layer of it blown above the ceiling but nothing under the rafters. Would it be helpful to put some on the rafters too? Or more blown above the ceiling?

Under the house, there is nothing. Would it help more to insulate the floor than add more to the ceiling?

My ex-roommate owes me over $600. He keeps making up excuses for why he can't pay me. He has a history of mismanaging money (one of the reasons he is my EX-roommate). I'm sick of dealing with him. How should I go about getting my money and being through with him?

She's a medium sized dog and I don't need any other grooming.

Every car that I've ever filled with washer fluid (you know... it sprays out on the windshield...) there is a little sponge that floats in the reservoir. Whats the point in that??

She is licking it relatively frequently, but she doesn't do it ALL the time. It's getting red and her hair is thinning from her licking, but it's not bleeding.

It seems like maybe I should just get her a dog cone and let her wear that for a day or two while it heels. Any thoughts?
