Technical Question. Google Account Hack?
Let me preface this question by stating that I am an IT professional:
7 mins ago (23:11PST), I had a Google calendar reminder buzz across 3 devices (phone, tablet, PC). The name of this reminder was seemingly randomly generated (i.e. "F9"). The reminder was set for Tomorrow from 5pm-6pm. I immediately logged into my GMail to view device history (Inbox > Click Details @ Bottom under Account Activity) and noticed IP addresses based out of Texas (which is meaningless). I'm in California. Prior device logs show access out of California. I responded by closing all sessions (Sign Out All Devices) and changing my password and security question.
However, since the calendar event was pushed to *all* my devices, my questions are as follows:
1) Is there a specific file in which these events are stored across devices?
2) If so, are these files synced regularly across all devices?
3) Where is this file located on Android 6.0.1 or v4?
4) Is there a way to determine *when* the event was created (e.g., *.iCal file) on Android and where it originated from (Source IP, DeviceID, MAC Address).
I have "pattern" security on my phone (e.g., draw a pattern through a Tic-Tac-Toe grid), so there may be a *very* small off-chance that an event was created "in my pocket." -- this however seems very unlikely given the device history and recorded IP sources from the GMail logs.
Any help would be appreciated.
KR.
