I watch my niece who is 3. About a month ago s blood vessel made its way to the surface and when she scratched it, it then burst. She went to the ER and the doctor bandaged it up and said let it heal. Well it did heal, unfortunately the blood vessel is still there. It looks like a small drop of bright red blood but it is contained. It is only a matter of time before it bursts again. My problem is her mom is not doing anything about it. The doctor told her to just let it heal so she is ignoring it. She just tells me to make sure she doesnot bother with it. How do I get her to take this more serious. I can't be following her around just waiting for this to pop. Also what can the doctor's do? Maybe if I tell her she can bring it up with her doctor.

My daughter's turning 2 in July. My husband and I are going to take her to the San Diego Zoo. We will be going for the weekend. July 18-July 20 to be exact. My question is when should I book this? Now or closer to the date? Tickets to the zoo are no problem I know I can get those the day of, but when should I book the hotel? Also what are some good websites I should book it through. I was at my mother in law's house today and on the shelves in her living room was a wine glass full of water. I then realized that it had been there the last 3 times I had been over. She had guests over and one of them asked about it and she was vague and weird about it. I am just curious as to what it is all about. Is it maybe like a Mexican ritual thing or a Catholic thing. I asked my husband and he has no idea. Anybody ever heard of anything like this. She recently got married, so maybe it has something to do with that? Thanks!!

My mother in law is driving my crazy. She did not like me when we were dating. She told me I was not welcome in her home, she didnt come to or even acknowledge our wedding, and we were married for a little over a year before our child was born. And through that whole year she didnt call, write, invite us to anything. And now that we have Emma(our daughter) thats all she does. And if she talked to me that would be wonderful, but she doesnt. She will talk to my husband and my 6 month old only. She calls him every other day to ask how Emma is. When she invites us over she tells him "dont forget to bring the baby" She asks him to let her have Emma spend the night and gives me dirty looks when we say shes too young. It just goes on and on. How do I cope???

My last period was 10/10/2005 and my daughter was due and born on 7/18/2006, so when did I conceive? Thanks!
