  • Statistics question, what test to use?

    I'm working on a science fair project. I'm looking at students who play 1-3 sports. The independent variable is which of the three sports is their favorite. The dependent variable is how long they play each of the sports for. I want to see if they play their favorite for longest.

  • What laptop fits for me?

    Looking for a laptop that somewhat fits this description...

    -Good portability (but don't necessarily need an ultrabook)

    -Good battery life (greater than 4 hours actual use)

    -HDMI port, at least one USB 3.0

    -Preferably a mixed HD (SSD and HDD) for cost and speed

    -Decent other specs (4GB RAM, pretty good processor... would like to be able to use this for at least 3 years decently) - not doing anything too intensive most likely

    -Willing to spend a reasonable amount of money for a good product

  • Question about home alone 2?

    What is the TV show on in home alone 2, where the kid uses the TV to scare the concierge. The quote is OK I believe you but my Tommy gun don't? Is it from a TV show, or a movie? Or did they just make that for home alone? (the character is referred to as Tommy Gun Johnny)

  • Is it better to have one sample of 100 or 20 samples of 5?

    Statistics questions. Pretty much which is more important, sample size, or number of samples? I am a couple years out of AP stat, but still have a fairly good knowledge of it, but this question threw me.

  • How much does the entire US pay for medical insurance?

    I am kind of hoping for some good facts behind this... looking for a nice large number total... maybe a few sources and maybe a couple different nice large numbers..

    Ultimately I would also like to see how much American's also pay out of pocket for medical care, as well as how much their company's pay for health insurance.

  • Bank failures?

    If I have a loan taken out for a bank like Indymac bank and the bank goes under like it did... would I still have to pay the loans?

    This is all hypothetical, so what conditions would there have to be for loans to be completely forgotten... if the first case doesn't follow.

  • I had this amazing food, at a hibatchi resturant?

    Ok so here is my description... I need to know what the names are for it...

    I believe it was kind of an appetizer. It was raw beef. Cut into very thing but fairly large strips. It was unseasoned and uncooked, but melted in your mouth. Came with some sort of dipping sauce.

    What are the Japanese names for this type of thing...and where can I get some for me
