I am working on a review for a test and am having trouble completing one of the problems. If you can help me out, I would really appreciate it as I want to make sure I understand everything! The problem is as follows:

s2= "hi!"

Given the above variables and what they are equivalent to, show a python expression that could construct each of the following results by performing string operations on s1 and s2.

A. "HI"

B. "hi! spamhi!"

C. "Spam Hi! Spam Hi! Spam Hi!"

I am preparing for a computer programming final and am having a hard time doing some of the problems on the review. If you could help me out with these, I would really appreciate it! Here are the following:

1. Write a line of code that would open a text file called testing, in write mode, and assign it to a variable called myTextFile.

2. Now, use the appropriate method to write three lines out to the file on separate lines. The lines could say anything you want.

3. Now, close the file.

4. Write a line of code that would open the file up but now in read mode.

5. Write code that would store each line of the text file as an element of a list called linesOfFile.

6. Print each element of linesOfFile using a for loop.

7. Print each element of linesOfFile using a while loop.

*I realize that these tasks can be done multiple ways, and I know how to recognize what is right and wrong with Python coding, but when it comes to actually writing the code, I struggle. This review is not graded, and I just need these questions answered so I have a better idea of how to do things like this before the final.

I was told that you do not receive payment for concert tickets that you sell until after the concert is over, regardless of when you sell the concert tickets in advance. I am trying to create a palindrome tester in Python, and the shortcut that cuts the code down to a few lines is not permitted. So far I have tried the following (listed in the link below), but I really can't figure out what else I need to do. Not only do I have to create a palindrome tester that runs, but I need to ask the user if he/she wants the the string as is OR if he/she wants to ignore all spaces, punctuations, and changes in uppercase and lowercase. Here is what I have so far (NOTE: I do not yet have the part asking the user if they want the string as is or not. I'm not sure how to do it):

if i%2== 0

i= i+1

print " The integer must be equal or greater than two! "

If anyone could give me the coding for it and explain how they did it so that I can understand this for the future, I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you.

I jumped into the pool with my iPhone 4S yesterday and remembered 10 minutes after being in the pool that my iPhone was in my pocket. I immediately placed my iPhone in a bag of rice and sealed it for 24 hours. Right when I took it out and was about to place it in the bag, the LED light flashed on and stayed on. I just took my phone out about an hour ago and plugged it in, and the light eventually turned off and it vibrated when I plugged it into the wall. When I pressed the home button and held it, it also made a noise like siri was on. However, the iPhone screen is completely off and isn't turning on and when I plug the iPhone into my computer, it does not register as plugged into the computer and nothing happens on the screen. I just put my iPhone back into the bag of rice... Anyway, what do you think? Is there anything else I can do to help this? Is my iPhone going to work again or should I just resort to buying a new iPhone and new plan? Thank you.

That was what I posted yesterday. UPDATE: The iPhone is now being recognized by my computer and Siri works, but there is no backlight so I can see absolutely nothing. I can also hear people calling me because my ringtone is going off, but when I press around on the screen there is no answer. I put the phone back in the bag of rice. So now my question is... Do you feel there is any chance the backlight will go back on since everything else is working but that isn't? Or should I get someone to put a backlight in, or get a new phone?

Have any of you done a fantasy football draft at a restaurant before? This year I'm looking to go with some friends to a place that has wifi and would be willing to host 6 or 7 of us while we draft out players, but I don't know what restaurants would be willing to do this. If you have drafted at a place before please tell me what restaurant it is, and if not, I would appreciate it if you could list some restaurants that you believe would work for this scenario.
