I'm a college student from Maine thinking of spending this summer in Anchorage AK. Where is the best place to find cheap housing (I'm in college so it doesn't have to be a dream house)? By this I mean both, where online should I look, as well as what is a good part of Anchorage to live in? What is it like there during the summer? Any other advice would be nice too! I hope this works out because Alaska is GORGEOUS! :)

I'm looking for a very specific person.... I've got an itouch and I have the At the Bat 2009 app. I am a Bostonian, and like any good Bostonian I follow the Red Sox religiously. When this app shows the live games, I can't watch the Sox games since I am in the area. But I go to school in Maine, and will be there next month. What I want to know is if that region is still considered to be part of the blackout. I'm guessing no one knows, but I'd LOVE to be able to watch the games there too. So, is there any Mainer out there, who has the itouch app and has attempted (and possibly succeeded) to watch the Red Sox games?? Tiny chance... but I really want to know!

A second question.... if ANYONE knows if there's a patch or something that can allow me to use this app on my laptop. I don't think it's possible but it would be a lot easier if I could get it to work this way.

I have been using Firefox for a while an it started having issues, so I uninstalled it so I could re-install it after. (I stupidly had to do it on a flash drive, since internet explorer is terrible and hasn't worked in forever) When I re-installed FF, it didn't connect to the internet. I tried everything I could think of, comparing every internet setting to that of another computer on the same network in the same house. I also downloaded Safari (Chrome wouldn't load) and this too said it couldn't connect. I have tried restarting the computer several times and nothing. I am connected to the internet with excellent connection, and it's always worked fine. It's possible I have some sort of virus or something but I don't know..... I just want my internet back!! I have spent enough time messing with my computer that I will try ANYTHING even if it's really complicated.... please help me!!!

I've got a patched version of the Sims 3 and an ipod touch, and would like to not spend the $10 to put the two together by buying the proper Sims 3 app. I've tried putting the Sims patch into the itunes folder, but this does nothing. Anyone have any ideas??

It seems likely it's not feasible since they're really two different devices... I know the app was created so that you could play it on the itouch conveniently, but it's worth a shot asking! Thanks!

For almost a year now, I've been having issues with my internet. After a period of time (anywhere from 5 hours to 5 days) my internet dies. I will be on one site, and the click a link or something and it will just be gone. It's not the that browser (it's always both dead on Firefox and IE). However, it says I am still connected and that my strength is good. I can still use AIM and other programs that use the internet, but I can't go directly to the internet. Being a technologically curious person, I have spent a TON of time trying to solve the problem, and the only way I've come up with to fix it it so restart the whole thing. I also know that it's not the connection, because it happens at home, at friend's houses, as well as school. I'm getting a little tired of this because, well, as you can imagine, it's just a pain. I am willing to try to understand technical terms if you know them, because I have spent many hours pouring over the possible changes I could make to fix it. I've got an HP laptop running on Vista...

My diagnosis is virus, as I don't know what else it could be. PLEASE if you have any ideas, let me know!!

What I mean is, what is the DIRECT connection between the color of the animal and the disease? Why is it not all black horses, or all bay horses, etc. Why is it white only? I know that it's the frame overos that cause the OLWS but WHY? What does the color pattern have to do with the fact that the colon does not fully develop?

Any sources would help too!

So, I work at a library (a very large one, with about 1,000,000 books) and someone has been placing fake dollar bills (with 'Jesus' where the president face goes, with quotations from the bible on them) all over the place in here. It's very irritating, because like I said, the library is very large and they keep popping up in the most random places. My question is, if they were to catch the man or woman responsible for this, could he or she be punished, or are his or her rights protected by the First Amendment, either freedom of speech or religion? This is a public library, of a University, that is open to the general public area. Not that I am interested in actually perusing a court case, I am just curious because we have been discussing the First Amendment in detail recently. Just looking for an answer to satisfy my curiosity! :)

Okay, I know this is reallllly vague, but this has been driving me crazy!! I heard a song on the radio a few days ago, and I was singing along to it, thinking, "why do I know this?" and so I figured that I'd look up the name when I got home. But then I forgot, and now I have no idea how it goes or anything! All I remember is that it was a male singer (perhaps a group?) and it sounded a bit like the Beatles.... I remember thinking that it came out about a year ago, maybe summer 2007? I think it was about the guy singing to a girl about something she did, wondering why she did what she did. It was not a rock song, it was slower, kind of like the Fray's songs, but it wasn't a genuine 'slow song'. I appologize for being so vague! I feel like I have amnesia.... it's terrible. If anyone can figure it out, you will make my day!! Please help me!

I am looking for an animal internship for next summer (of 2009) somewhere in the US. I don't really care where it is. I would like it to be a PAID internship, and preferably one that involves training animals. By next summer I will be finished with my second year of college in an animal science program. Thanks!
